This r handed waitress presented  ED tonight. she had fallen and to break her fall had grasped the top of a sharp aluminium wall sustaining the above lacerationss Bleeding ++. Unsure re tetanus status.

On examination volar lacs to the R iddle, index, ring finger. Lac to the middle finger the deepest, in a V shape.

Xay done - no foreign body.

Areas blocked and thorough irrigation and exploration of all wounds done. No tendon involvement, able to flex and extend all fingers well. Sensation intact in all fingers.

All 3 wounds sutured with 5.0 nylon and steristripped. Dressings applied

ADT given

Advised patient to return to EDAC tomorrow to have wounds checked. Keep dressings dry. GP to ROS in 7/7
Given course of keflex.
