Hi Buob,
Its been a while that we have not communicated. Hope you are enjoying your new job and all is well with you.
I am writing this note mainly to let you know some detail about my business situation and prospects here in Thailand that I had briefly mentioned to you during our Skype conversation a few weeks back.

You may be aware that I had started my business here little over a year back  during when I had even given some renovation job of my restaurant Indi Indi at ABAC Bangna to Tyro the company you were previously working. Since then I have also started a trading  (export-import) company by the name Eastwin Asia Co., Ltd.  Let me give you a brief outlook of the business that I have set-up here. Firstly I will explain something about Indi Indi the restaurant in ABAC Bangna.

ABAC Bangna currently has 12,500. students studying there, almost half of them (6000) staying in the campus and apartments around Bangna. There are two shopping and food outlet blocks in the campus, totaling about 22 restaurants and food-outlets which are open from breakfast till dinner, the rest few are just day-time eateries. Our restaurant Indi Indi is located in the prime location of AU Mall occupying well designed and furnished 100 sq mt area. It opens at 10 am till 9 pm and currently doing business averaging 12,500.per day. Within one year period Indi has already become a very popular restaurant in ABAC. But I can see there is a lot of improvement that we can make to do better business in Indi like addison of Thai menu, proper Thai service staffs, management, proper person to look after purchase and marketing . Since the majority of the students are Thais, they are demanding Thai food from our restaurant also. During lunch time almost all the restaurants become 100% full for almost two hours because all the students need to eat and we have realized that if we can add some good Thai menu we can make a business increment to double during lunch hour. Indi is already very popular among international students, and if we can change the theme of the restaurant to more Thai and Inter,  the business there can easily double. Indi is already making average profit of about 300,000. per month. In Abac all other restaurants are making almost the same profit except for a few which have better theme and choice of variety menu for local students. Some of the restaurants there are making in average monthly profit of over 500,000. per month easily. Like Cheap-chick, Prince, Steak 3 Cha, Bangkok Grill etc and I feel 500,000 per month is easily achievable if we can have some good Thai menu and partner to look after management like purchase, staffs, service and planning.

Secondly I have also started trading business (export-import) under my company Eastwin Asia Co., Ltd. I have, market contact, experience and expertise to develop export market for Thai products in Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Singapore.
I am working on developing market in these countries for essential commodities, mainly Thai Argo products like Thai Rice, Sugar, Chicken, Ducks, Processed meat, and also Thai furniture and paper. And I have been successful in getting orders for exporting Thai, Ducks, Chicken, Sausages, Ham, Bacon and also Paper. Currently we are also negotiating some sugar and rice deal with some of the buyers from my country. I am very optimistic that Eastwin Asia will start to lift its business volume to a good profit making company soon. Both the companies are already in a good position as far as business income is concerned, thank god both have already become profit making companies within one year of its operation, and I feel we can do a lot better if I have a good reliable and trustworthy Thai partner cum Manager.

I have realized that to do business in Thailand I need a good reliable, sincere and trust worthy Thai partner. I can create market, I can develop market but to deliver to my market I need a partner who can help our company source better products, negotiate better deal and deal with staffs better, communicate with the local business associates and customers better. So far that was what lacking for me, though I have local Thai partner, he is not very out going, not interested in promoting business, not capable to handle or negotiate with local business associate and most importantly he is not sincere and trust worthy. So I am looking for some-one as my business partner who can take the responsibility of local partner, who can handle negotiation with Thai suppliers, who can manage Thai staffs in restaurant, who can look fater the purchage in a sincere way,  who can implement plans to develop both restaurant as well as export import business in local Thai terms.

I have briefly mentioned my business and my expectation from the local partner that I am looking for, I will highly appreciate if you can put it across to anyone you think suitable and reliable. Please let me know to fix-up an appointment for a meeting,  we can have a meeting to discuss and make a realistic presentation of business. I beleive Its just matter of making a good team that I am worried about at this stage, not business, as business already is there and it will grow bigger and bigger with a right team-work.

ในที่สุดแกเลยเปิดร้านอาหารแขกที่เอแบคเลย ชื่อ Indi Indi โดยจ้างออฟฟิศเก่าผมทำ.. แน่นอนว่าผมเป็นคนดีล
และตอนร่วมงาน ผมถือว่าเขาเป็นลูกค้าเกรดดีคนนึงเลย (ฟังที่แนะนำ / จ่ายตรงเวลา / ไม่เอาแต่ใจไร้เหตุผล / ทำการบ้านมาดี)

จนผมเปลี่ยนงาน ไม่รู้เขารู้ได้ไง อาจจะโทรไปที่ออฟฟิศเก่ามั้ง.. เขาทักมาในสไกป์ บอกว่าร้านไปได้สวยเลยนะ ตอนนี้เขากำลังมองธุรกิจใหม่
เขาก็เคยบรีฟให้ผมฟังคร่าวๆ ว่าธุรกิจนำเข้า/ส่งออก ประมาณนี้ ที่เขาต้องการคือหุ้นส่วนคนไทย เพราะปัญหาเรื่องการสื่อสาร (และคงเพื่อความสะดวกอื่นๆ ในการทำธุรกิจในประเทศ)

ทีนี้ เขาอยากให้ผมช่วยหาคนให้เขา มีใครสนใจอยากทำธุรกิจมั้ยครับ
